We’re seeking a full time receptionist/front of house, which includes evenings and weekends who is a friendly, outgoing and highly motivated person who has excellent customer care skills and is able to build relationships with clients.
Ideally you will be a team player that is organised, self-motivating, with excellent communication skills who is professional at all times and above all can multi-task. You must be able to work under pressure and work with initiative while unsupervised and someone who is sales orientated.
In particular we are looking for someone who wants to develop his or her career within a salon environment. The receptionist position is to cover front of house, working alongside a creative and professional team. This is a very important role as you will ensure the smooth running of the salon reception as well as getting involved with the day to day running of the salon.
The candidate will be responsible for the following:
- Meeting and greeting clients in a professional manner
- Booking appointments
- Ensuring clients are comfortable and offering refreshments
- Keeping reception and salon tidy
- Data capturing
- Responsible for all salon retail
- Upselling
- Cashing up
- Basic admin duties

Previous experience in the hair or beauty profession is preferred but not essential. Experience in a retail environment is preferred but not essential. A minimum of 1 years experience as a receptionist is required.
